As a child Emma used to ‘sit’ with spine straight, crossed-legs and eyes closed, simply feeling. Little did her bewildered parents know that one day, this interest in sitting, would grow into a love of the inner transformation of stillness, and a passion for passing this on through meditation and yoga. Emma’s classes focus on understanding and learning the ways in which we individually move and taking her students on a journey that allows practice to move beyond form, and performing, to feeling.
Emma initially studied Ashtanga Vinyasa 200hrs in 2011 with Yoga London. A few years on, trained with The Yoga People in Yin & Anatomy, Rocket, Tripsicore & Mandala. Emma has since furthered her Yin training (with Sarah Powers, Paul & Suzee Grilley and ‘With-Yin’) on everything from Anatomy and Chakra meditation to Traditional Chinese Meridian Theory. With over 800 hours of study, Emma is a registered RYT level 1 teacher with over 800 hours of study with The Yoga Alliance Professionals.
Teaching with passion and love, Emma draws upon her knowledge of the energetic layers of the body, incorporating spirituality and yogic philosophy into all her classes.
