Ana practices a “Food as Medicine” and whole body, whole mind approach to health, digging deep
during her one to one consultations to get to the cause of her clients’ condition and addressing it
instead of just treating or inhibiting symptoms.
At the initial consultation (allow 90 minutes) a detailed picture of the client’s life story will be taken,
this will include life history, family history, current and previous medications, psychological and
emotional factors, exercise, stress levels, dietary habits and any symptoms of ill health. These are
some of the many factors that will be discussed in -depth during consultation. In certain
circumstances, laboratory tests maybe recommended. The client will be given explanations of
dietary and lifestyle factors that may be contributing to their condition.
Some people may only need two consultations, while others, who may have more deep-seated
issues may feel the need to come back more often in order to meet their nutritional health goals.
