Learn in the safely of a controlled environment, the fundamentals how to take your body into:
– Arm balances such as side crow, crow and forearm balance
– Headstand and headstand variations
– Handstand practice and tips for a safe controlled handstand
This will be a fun workshop with plenty of warm up exercises first to get you ready to practice some of these challenging asanas with plenty of variations. Expect to learn lots, practice safely without causing injuries to the body. You will have plenty of time to practice (with hands on assistance) ask lots of questions along the way, make notes so that you can ‘take away and continue the leaning at home or back in the studio.’ At the end of the workshop we will finish with a deep relaxation technique to fully relax the body.
Ideally please bring a note book and wear leggings/joggers, as this helps if the room gets too warm from the body slipping which it can do if you are wearing shorts.
