In this masterclass, we will be exploring how to tame the monkey mind with the practise of dharana, or the practice of concentrating the mind on one single point of focus. Research shows that when we are being mindful and focusing on the present moment, one becomes more empathetic, compassionate, and happier. In this workshop, we will be exploring both the philosophy behind and different techniques used for dharana and mindfulness which can be achieved both on and off the mat.
The practise of dharana, can be a revolutionary practise, which allows the yogi/yogini to find liberation from the ‘prison between one’s ears.’ Expect philosophy, chanting, asana, pranayama, and meditation.
