The never ending to do lists, non stop notifications and tech overload mean that many of us are in a constant spin. This grounding yoga practice is all about releasing excess mental energy. Expect a deeper dive into the spiritual practice of yoga that will expand on the Mindful Flow classes that Chloë leads at Yogarise. Incorporating mindful movement, mudras, meditation and breath work.
This workshop will offer a container for us to explore the subtle and physical body with an invitation to move beyond the intellectual and into the bhava, the feeling state. Together we will explore balancing practices to help us counter the excess stimulation and stress of modern day life. A place for us to connect to the underlying stillness from which all movement begins and to hear the silence that holds all sound.
Chloë Faulkner is a yoga teacher and mindfulness advocate. Forever a student, Chloë is passionate about the art of living with awareness, of consciously moving, speaking and connecting to the world with kind and loving attention. Chloë has studied with many wonderful teachers who have so generously shared their knowledge and experience including Seane Corn, Hala Khouri, Suzanne Stirling, Donna Farhi, David Swenson, Hareesh Wallis, Jack Kornfield and Christopher Tompkins. Completing her advanced yoga training under the guidance of Shiva Rea, Chloë teaches mindful, fluid vinyasa flow classes inspired by Shiva Rea’s Prana Vinyasa® methodology. Prana Vinyasa® is a creative, energetic and dynamic methodology of embodying the essence of yoga. Classes include flowing postures, creative sequencing, breath work and meditation that guide us deeper into the state of flow.
