Yogarise Yoga Teacher Training Scholarship 2023
We’re thrilled to be offering a scholarship for our 200hr Foundational Yoga Teacher Training in 2023.
What is included?
We know that teacher training can be quite an outgoing, so we’re looking to give someone a helping hand. We’re offering to cover the cost of the 200hrs training, plus accommodation and meals on the 2-week intensive. The successful candidate will need to cover the cost of the flights, transfers, travel insurance, visa and jabs for Mexico, as well as books and travel in London.
Who can apply?
We’re looking for someone who is a keen yogi with at least 3 years practice. And someone who has a passion to teach yoga for a living but who may not be able to afford to train due to being on low income – maybe you only work part time due to being a carer, maybe you volunteer with an organisation so therefore don’t receive payment…?
It is also important to know that the the successful applicant will take yoga to their community – perhaps to other groups that may not be able to afford to join a studio/gym or community groups that may currently be underrepresented in yoga. There is no set agenda from us, we are keen to hear of your ideas and plans so please share as much information and detail as you can.
About the role
We will ask you to collaborate with Yogarise throughout the duration of the course, acting as the YTT Karmi yogi. This could include arriving a little early for the training modules to help the teachers set up, leaving a little later to help ensure the studio is left clean and tidy, and offering any other support the FoH teams may require.
For 12 months after graduating, we ask that you keep in touch and update us on how you are integrating yoga into your community. This may include some of the following: photos, blog posts, videos, press coverage, testimonials, one-off events, and social media activity.
How to apply
Everything you need to know about the yoga teacher training is here and, if you’re keen to apply, the scholarship application form is here.
Applications will be accepted up to 31 March, at which point we’ll review and then ask successful candidates in for interview.
