Angus Ford-Robertson is a changemaker in the field of human evolution and spiritual development.
Founder and creator of the deeply personal and transformative journey ‘The Awaken Programme’, which has been taught to over 12,000 students since 2001, including to NHS staff and patients as well as major International Corporations.
For over 20 years, Angus has practised in the field of mindfulness and embodied well-being, teaching spiritual truths in a very engaging and accessible way. His two primary teachers were Eckhart Tolle (Power of Now) and Ajahn Sumedho (Abbott of Amaravati Buddhist Monastery).
Although he draws on his many therapeutic trainings, he is profoundly driven by the belief that everyone has the capacity to live a life free from mental and emotional suffering; that we can all move from one state of consciousness to another, from pain to joy, from suffering to peace, through the journey of Awakening.
In 1999, he began teaching yoga and meditation in UK prisons and went on to establish Battersea Yoga, one of London’s most renowned studios.
Angus now dedicates his life to the teaching and embodying of awareness. As well as his weekly Group Coaching Container, he runs a thriving Book Club, hosts The Awaken Podcast, and has established the accredited Mindfulness Teacher Training programme with UK Yoga Alliance Professionals. He is also a recognised speaker, a visionary, and an upcoming author of two books; Nothing Will Satisfy You and the Book of Mirrors.
