Rain Maher is a big-hearted, life loving, tree hugging, hippy enigma wrapped in a sarong. She has been guiding yoga practices of Hatha since 2002 and Vinyasa since 2008. Rain continues her learning by assisting her main teacher, Shiva Rea. Expect breath led slow build vinyasa flow yoga classes that leave you energised yet relaxed.
Rain was born in New Zealand, grew up in Australia and moved to the UK in 1997. She was first introduced to yoga through her voracious love of reading, then her practice evolved whilst studying to be a performer at university.
Rain has received three teaching Diplomas in Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa Flow Yoga with her latest in Prana Vinyasa Yoga with her mahaguru Shiva Rea.
Rain’s teaching is creative and intuitive, where a complete beginner can enjoy a practice alongside the seasoned yogi. In Rain’s classes you will learn to listen to your body as her voice guides you through postures, breathing techniques and meditation. These will teach you to be open to more focus and presence in your life. Your balance and flexibility will noticeably improve along with your general outlook on life. Rain will take you on a journey, opening your eyes and heart to the beauty that is you, taking you deep within yourself and restoring you to harmony.
