With Lolo Lam and Jeni England

11 – 14 November, Pembrokeshire, Wales

Cosy up with us for a long weekend in beautiful Pembrokeshire. Think log fires, country rambles, heart-warming meals and plenty of yoga. Lolo Lam (one of Yogarise’s original teachers), will lead twice daily yoga classes, while chef Jeni will curate a fab plant-based menu to keep you nourished.

With plenty of cosy space within the Manor to relax either on your own or as part of the group, Plas Pantyderi is the perfect location for a retreat. Choose from a triple, twin or your own room, with a shared or en suite bathroom.

We will also be close to the beautiful beaches of the North Pembrokeshire coast if you feel like stepping out and exploring the countryside.

A retreat is the perfect opportunity to focus on your yoga practice away from the distractions and stresses of every day life. With 2 practices a day, plus the option to participate in workshops, whether you’re a beginner or more experienced you will come away having learned something new and feeling stronger and more confident on the mat. Classes will vary in style, from dynamic to restorative, for a fully rounded experience.

In a previous life, Lolo worked as a nurse, specialising in the areas of neurosurgery and intensive care. After many years of observing the pitfalls of inactivity and poor lifestyle, she started studying the holistic system of Ayurveda and yoga. Having studied with some incredible teachers, Lolo was amazed at how yoga and Ayurveda helped her deal with her own physical and mental demons and hopes that she can facilitate an empowered and embodied practice that will do the same for others.

Lolo’s classes combine a powerful yet nurturing energy with a mischievous sparkle. Students are encouraged to explore the practice, learning about their individual anatomy, the power of their breath and the nature of their mind. She enjoys teaching a diverse range of students from complete beginners to more seasoned practitioners.

A senior yoga teacher, with over a decade of yoga teaching experience, Lolo loves to teach everything from Dynamic Flow and Rocket Yoga, to Yin-Yang, Beginners’ Yoga, Flow + Restore, Restorative, Yin and Yoga Nidra.

Lolo is a Guest Teacher on the Yogarise Foundational 200HR Yoga Teacher Training, with a module on Ayurveda. And we are pleased to announce that (despite no longer living in London) she will continue as a key member of our training faculty again for 2022. The retreat is a perfect opportunity to experience all that Lolo has to offer.

All meals, drinks and snacks will be included, the menu will be plant based but please let us know if you have any specific dietary requirements or allergies.

As well as teaching yoga, one of Jeni’s big passions in life is feeding people. Creating delicious, seasonal, mostly plant based food that is both comforting and nourishing. She strongly believes that food is what brings us together and that having everyone around the table is the quickest way to form strong, loving bonds. Having had a keen interest in cooking from a young age, Jeni is self taught through years of hosting dinner parties and now retreats. With a variety of culinary influences there will be flavours from all over the world to make each meal something new and exciting. Jeni strongly believes in sustainability and minimising waste so strives to use seasonal ingredients from the area or country the retreat is taking place in, and will often repurpose leftovers into something even more delicious the next day.
