Rooftop Yoga

Views, vibes, very much fun

After the success of last year’s summer season, we are back with our friends at Rooftop Film Club for another year of al fresco fun.

It is proven that exercising outdoors is good for you, and so is yoga, so we reckon it’s a bit of a no brainer. Hit the roof, then grab a coffee from a local biz or a pizza from the Bussey Rooftop Bar and hang out in the sunshine – what better way to spend the weekend?

Please read our FAQs below for everything you need to know to make the most of your Yogarise Rooftop experience.

Rooftop Yoga

How to find us

To access the roof, take the Bussey Building red ‘B Block’ stairs and walk up to the 5th floor. Turn right into Rooftop Film Club where you will be signed in by one of our receptionists.

Please note: there are toilets on the 3rd and 4th floors but no showering facilities on site. You can use the showers in the main studio space – towel hire is £1 (included in unlimited memberships.)

How do I book outdoor yoga classes?

Classes can be booked via the Timetable for £16 drop-in. If you have a studio package with us you can use your membership.

You must pre-book – Rooftop Yoga is super popular (of course) and classes fill up pretty quick!

Please contact us with any booking enquiries. Every person attending must have completed their online waiver and have their own Yogarise account with Momence.

What to bring

Please bring your own yoga mat to use, or give yourself enough time to hire one from reception. Mat hire is £2. Or our Yogarise cork mats are also available to purchase. If you need to buy or hire one, please email us peckham@yogarise.london or pop by the studio.

If it is sunny – sunnies and sunscreen. Cooler – layers and a sense of fun.

Bring your own water as there are no taps on the roof, or fill up your bottle in the studio before you come up.

Props are not provided on the roof.

Belongings should be kept with you and placed neatly in a pile next to your mat.

You are welcome to take photos of the incredible view but phones must be switched off / put on silent and packed away during the session.

What if it rains?

We all cry and go home. No, not really! You’ll get your credit back (hoorah!)

If the class is cancelled due to bad weather or unforeseen circumstances, the class credit will be returned to your Yogarise account so you can re-book another session – inside the studio or rooftop.

You will be notified by email up to one hour before the start of class if it is cancelled. Please ensure you check your email around 8.30am for confirmation.
