Master Yin Yoga
‘The Art of Letting Go’ is an immersive Yin Yoga training led by Senior Teacher Austin Ince (E-RYT 500), assisted by TCM specialist Wei Ding and featuring sound therapist Zsofia Nyakas. This 50-hour course is designed for dedicated practitioners and movement professionals -including yoga, Pilates, and fitness instructors – looking to expand their expertise. Whether you want to master functional anatomy or add a rewarding new specialism to your teaching toolkit, this training is for you.
Why Teach Yin Yoga?
Yin Yoga is the essential balance to a dynamic practice, restoring energy by targeting connective tissue and joints. By honoring individual anatomical variations and focusing on fascial health, Yin provides a therapeutic approach that is increasingly vital for modern movement.
As a professional specialism, Yin is an invaluable tool for one-to-one settings and as a restorative second practice for retreats. Beyond the theory, you will experience the profound effects on the nervous system first-hand.
By practicing daily over two long weekends, you’ll reap the personal rewards of deep stillness while gaining the confidence to lead others in this specialist therapeutic offering.

Meet the teacher
Austin Ince
Austin has directed this course since 2016 and is a cornerstone of the Yogarise community, teaching weekly classes and livestream sessions across our Peckham, Streatham, and Queen’s Park studios.
Prior to curating this syllabus, Austin completed five different trainings with the world’s most influential Yin pioneers, including Bernie Clark and Paul Grilley. Feeling that no single course offered a truly comprehensive perspective, he created ‘The Art of Letting Go’ to combine his learnings into a fully-rounded, functional anatomy-based program. This training emphasizes teaching methodology and serves as both a primary qualification and a deep-dive refresher for those wishing to master functional anatomy.
Austin is joined by Wei Ding, who will assist throughout the training and lead the ‘Introduction to Traditional Chinese Medicine’ (TCM) module. To complete the immersion, students will also experience a restorative Yin practice accompanied by a sound healing session with Zsofia Nyakas, allowing you to feel first-hand how sound therapy complements the Yin experience.
Got questions?
Is the Yin Yoga Teacher Training with Austin Ince accredited?
Absolutely. This is a 50-hour professional training. If you are a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200), these hours can be used as Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credits with Yoga Alliance, helping you maintain your status while adding a specialist string to your bow.
What makes the functional approach in this course different?
It’s not about how a pose looks – Austin’s functional approach focuses on how a pose feels in your unique body. You will learn to analyse skeletal variations and use props to ensure the practice is safe and effective for every student, regardless of their anatomical structure.
Who is the guest faculty for this training?
Austin has directed this course to be a multi-disciplinary immersion. He is joined by Wei Ding, a specialist in Clinical Chinese Medicine, who leads the TCM and Meridian Theory modules.
Do I need to be a qualified yoga teacher to join?
This course is primarily designed for yoga teachers, Pilates instructors, and movement professionals.
Can I practice with Austin before I book?
Absolutely. We always recommend trying a class with your lead teacher to ensure their style resonates with you. Austin teaches weekly Yin Yoga classes at our Peckham, Streatham, and Queen’s Park studios, as well as Online. You can also look out for his upcoming workshops, which are a perfect taster for the full training. If you would like to book a class please contact clare@yogarise.london
How will this training help my teaching career?
Yin is one of the most in-demand styles for evening studio classes, one-to-one therapeutic sessions, and injury rehabilitation. It is also the perfect wind-down evening practice to offer on yoga retreats, giving you more flexibility and value as a professional instructor.
Is a manual and course materials included?
Yes. All participants will receive a comprehensive training manual curated by Austin Ince. This manual serves as an essential resource during the training and a valuable reference guide for your future teaching, covering everything from functional anatomy diagrams to sequencing templates.
What is the assessment process for certification?
To receive your Yogarise Yin Training Certificate, we require 100% attendance across both weekends. There is a practical teaching assessment on the final afternoon where you will demonstrate your ability to apply functional anatomy principles and lead a safe, effective Yin sequence.
Is there a payment plan available for this training?
Yes. We want to make our specialist trainings as accessible as possible. You can secure your spot with a deposit, followed by interest-free, no-fee monthly instalments to spread the cost.
