Yogarise is thrilled to announce the launch of our first 300-hour Advanced Teacher Training, led by the highly experienced Becky Farbstein and Erin Prichard. With over twenty 200-hour YTTs and further teacher trainings under their belts, Becky and Erin bring more than 40 years of combined yoga expertise.

TRAINING FORMAT

Our 300-hour Advanced Teacher Training is designed to provide the dynamic energy of group learning through designated training weekends, allowing you to delve deeply into new topics, revisit familiar ones, and collaborate with other yoga teachers in a small group setting, with an opportunity to up-skill by picking your own specialisms from the Yogarise CPD list.

This flexible format is designed to fit around your existing commitments by enabling you to complete all the hours in as little as 1-year, or as long as 3.

CORE CURRICULUM

All of the core curriculum is delivered by Becky and Erin and consists of 150+ hours of in-person modules. Topics covered will include:

- Finding Your Authentic Voice and Ethos of Teaching
- The Power of Language for Inclusivity
- Teaching Beyond Asana
- Philosophy: Authentic and Non-Dogmatic Teaching
- Advanced Pranayama
- Progressive Curriculum Development
- Sequencing and Class Planning
- Accessible Yoga
- - Applied Anatomy & Injury Management

MANDATORY MENTORING

Unique to the Yogarise 300-hour is an opportunity to choose either Becky or Erin as your mentor, and gain:

10 hours of one-on-one contact with your chosen mentor
Gain experience assisting in up to 5 hours of your mentor's classes or YTT modules and receive feedback
Additional hours of one-on-one sessions, including a 1-hour yoga coaching session to support your teaching goals

Complete your training by attending Yogarise specialist training courses and CPDs, which have included:

- Pregnancy and Postnatal Training with Tara Lee and Clare Daniell
- Trauma-sensitive Yoga with Nicolette Wilson Clark
- Meditation with Isabell Britsch
- Yoga Nidra with Francesca Sanlorenzo
- Rocket Yoga with Leon London
- Mandala with Dulce Mandala
- Philosophy with Shamita Ray
- Restorative Level 1 with Adelene Cheong

In between these in-person modules, there are homework and self-study tasks to be completed.

ASSESSMENT

Assessments include :

Designing a themed class for a specific case study.
Creative curriculum planning and course design
In-class teaching assessments with a particular emphasis on cueing and assisting skills.

TIMING

Start Date: September 20
Core Hours Completion: Within the first year
Mentoring: Can run concurrently with core hours or begin in the second year
Total Hours Completion: Within 3 years, with an option to complete within 1 year for those eager to finish sooner

IS THERE A READING LIST?

Yes- a non-mandatory reading/listening list comprising books, podcasts, and e-learning suggestions is provided with the intention that you are encouraged to read/listen. All course reading will be supplied in a comprehensive training manual.

MEET YOUR LEAD TEACHERS

Becky Farbstein: Becky began her yoga journey more than eighteen years ago and has been dedicated to the practice ever since. Her dynamic vinyasa flow classes are known for their strong, challenging sequences that integrate precise anatomical knowledge with traditional yoga philosophy. Becky’s advanced training was completed under the guidance of Jason Crandell.

Erin Prichard: Originally from Florida, Erin has been teaching yoga since 2004 and is a Senior Yoga Teacher. She has taught in a variety of settings, including schools, studios, prisons, and local communities, with a focus on trauma-informed yoga and teaching individuals with disabilities. Erin believes passionately that yoga is for everyone.

Erin and Becky currently deliver the Yogarise 200-hour Foundational Yoga Teacher Trainings.

COSTS

Core Hours £2,500 ( £500 deposit followed by 10 instalments 1 September- 1 June of £200 )

Or

Core Hours £2,250 (£500 deposit and then full payment before training commences (30 August)
