4-Beat Yoga: A Breakdown with Nino Russo
£30 for 2 hours in studio, £20 online
Join Nino Russo for this introduction to 4-Beat Yoga, a dynamic vinyasa flow born out of the Rocket Yoga system. The core of the practice is the alignment of the breath to the slow, regular beat of the music. Focusing the mind and the breath on a 4 beat count leads to a sharp, single-pointed and unwavering ability to concentrate. You will find yourself completely immersed in a state of synchronous moving meditation.
In this workshop, you will learn how to breathe like a yogi using ujaii breathing, how to use it to enhance or ease your practice, why breath comes first, and how to make it the center of your practice. You will learn how to link the 4-Beat count to the B.A.D (Breath, Asana + Action and Drishti) and practice it in the led 4-Beat vinyasa class.
Experience a 45-minute practice, Ujaii to 4-Beat, music + BAD breakdown. This class is suitable for both beginners and experienced practitioners.
Nino started yoga back in 2017 in Hong Kong as a way to escape from the intensity of the city and find calmness. Back in London he started practicing Rocket Yoga. He has completed Vinyasa training and advanced Rocket Vinyasa training.
Nino’s classes are challenging, precisely instructed, music-to-breath linked, and most of all fun.
