A life-long mover and creative being and senior yoga teacher with 20 years teaching experience, Mollie Morris guides people into greater capacity to feel and connect to themselves through yoga practice that is healing, nourishing and life-affirming. Having started her yoga journey with Ashtanga Yoga in New York, Pittsburgh and Mysore (2000), she completed Forrest yoga teacher training in 2003. Her work then evolved, integrating her life-long dance training and somatic practices, with the embodiment practices of Franklin Method, which she encountered in 2012, qualified to teach in 2016, and completed level 3 certification in 2020.
Mollie creates classes that weave together unique choreography, detailed biomechanical concepts, yogic wisdom and embodied self-reflection. While loving the intricacy of the design of the body, Mollie has a talent for explaining complex concepts with simplicity and humour. More than that, her guidance leads you into the experience in the body, rather than leaving you stuck in your head, remembering the magic of what it is to be a human in this incredible body we all have.
