YOGARISE 200HR YOGA TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAMME MAY 2023 | Yogarise

YOGARISE 200HR YOGA TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAMME
MAY 2023

MEXICO + London with Erin Prichard + friends

Start your journey…

Join the eighth Yogarise 200hr Yoga Teacher Training to unleash your true potential. Whether you’re looking to enhance your understanding of the many layers of yoga or change your career path, our teacher training will equip you with the tools to teach at a high level and find your confidence as a yoga teacher.

The teacher training course will develop your understanding and build a strong foundation in both theoretical knowledge and practical experience. It will provide you with an integrated education in anatomy, teaching methodology, philosophy, and practical aspects of yoga teaching. After the success of previous years, we will be bringing in some stellar supporting teachers and modules, including ‘integrating pregnant and postnatal students into your vinyasa class’, and ‘finding your voice as a yoga teacher’.

Through our two-week yoga intensive in Mexico with daily asana practice, group discussions, and practical experience you will learn to teach skilfully, guide responsibly, and discover your voice as a yoga teacher.

As a key part of the Yogarise YTT experience, each trainee will be matched with a mentor (an experienced yoga teacher) who will provide support, advice, and knowledge during the training and after qualifying. This is a great opportunity to observe, practise with and assist your mentor. You will also receive a month’s complimentary unlimited online pass and 5 drop-in studio classes to use back in London – because we know how important it is as a teacher to keep up your own practice.

UNIQUE TO YOGARISE, we are offering our Yogarise graduates exclusive access to lead our Community Classes for at least one month, in one of our studios or online. This will be a paid teaching role, and should help you get the studio experience you need to embark on a successful yoga career.

We strongly believe that this will ensure each graduate excels in the early stages of their yoga teaching career. We want our trainees to feel part of the Yogarise family and to gain valuable practical teaching experience in a large, professional studio. It will be a chance to properly hone your teaching skills and find your feet in the world of teaching yoga. After a rigorous (and fun!) 200hr training, plus at least one month’s teaching, you will be brimming with confidence and feel well equipped to set up your own classes, attend auditions for covers lists and put ‘Yogarise’ on your teaching CV.

Don’t miss your chance to find your inspiration and join a friendly community of like-minded Yogarisers.

What our alumni think of our 200hr Yoga Teacher Training…

“I think Erin is a wonderful facilitator. She’s sensitive, patient, super sharp, and intuitive with the group’s needs – individual and collective. Very good at leading discussions makes everyone feel welcome and safe and heard. I think her flexibility in what we’re covering on what days/ sessions was also v good as it meant she gauged the energy and concentration levels of the group and worked with that.” Fran C

“Loved Erin’s modules. She’s a wonderful teacher and I feel lucky to have been taught by her. Her knowledge is amazing and her values are spot on. I would not change a thing.” Stella C-S

“I loved how Erin’s modules were organised yet flexible enough to accommodate any topic we might want to cover on the day. Every time we met she always manages to teach us something new which was enlightening. She is one of the teachers I admire the most and learning from her during this YTT confirmed my choice – I’m very happy that she was at the center of it all.” Sam J

“Erin is wonderful. Her energy and enthusiasm are infectious. I am so grateful that I completed the Yogarise YTT with her as our lead teacher.” Sophie C

“Brilliant. The absolute heart and soul of the course. Erin is so knowledgeable, thoughtful, and considerate. Her whole approach and structure made this feel like a very thorough and well-rounded training, incredibly supportive and you come out feeling really confident.” Clare F

“What can I say? I completed a 200 YTT in 2019. Post-training I felt lost and like I needed to do another in order to even attempt to teach a class. Now, 2 days before my exam, I am confident I can deliver a class.” Andrea G

Written exam: There is a written exam at the end of the course in which you will be tested on key areas of philosophy and anatomy. You will also be required to complete an anatomy quiz for Mollie as part of your assessment.

On-going assessment: There will be daily reading in Mexico, sometimes including research on philosophy or journalling. You will also be asked to complete short tasks linked to the reading materials as ‘homework’ over the course of your London modules.

Observation: You will be expected to observe at least three different teachers from an approved list – this task is designed to help new teachers develop their own style and find their own ‘voice’.
