Laurent Roure

We are very proud and excited to include Senior Teacher and Trainer, Laurent Roure to our Online Workshop Schedule.

Laurent has one goal: he aims to provide his students with tools like learning yoga poses mindfully, safely and efficiently using pranayama and breath-work and offering clarity with meditation and relaxation techniques.

He continually encourages all his students to look at and listen to their body’s needs and to subsequently become more in touch with themselves – their strengths, weaknesses, their breathing and their minds.

Based on 25 years of self-practice, studies and teaching in all sorts of conditions, places and with all kinds of people, Laurent has cultivated a safe, welcoming and joyful approach to the art of teaching yoga mindfully.

During his classes, courses, training and workshops, his students will often hear words like kindness, awareness, acceptance, breathe, listen, ground, ease, surrender and let go. He also strongly believes that traditional yoga needs to be simplified and shaped in a way so that more people find it accessible and attainable. This experience allows students from all ages and backgrounds to safely rely on Laurent’s guidance in the process of accepting themselves, to recover, heal, improve their yoga practice or feel happier in their life.

Other teachers who practise with Laurent will find that  they are able to pass on his safe and essential tools to their students, helped and enriched by his support and advice.

Laurent continues to deeply study Hatha yoga in all its form and shapes – anatomy, pranayama, meditation… and has studied in this way for a very long time. This depth of experience enables him to individually tailor his classes to suit his students’ abilities, minds and bodies. Based in London, Laurent runs classes, workshops, courses and teacher training online, around the UK and Internationally.
